Pest control paperwork for catering and warehouses: what inspectors ask for
Contract, acts, contractor licences — what to keep and how to plan treatments.
Why businesses need pest control paperwork
Catering, retail, warehouses, medical and children’s facilities must keep their premises in sanitary condition, including protecting them from insects and rodents. During an inspection, it is not only the absence of pests that matters but also documents showing that treatments are carried out regularly by a specialised company.
The contract
- Which works are carried out — disinfection, insect control, rodent control — at which sites and over what areas.
- Treatment frequency or schedule.
- The procedure for repeat treatment if pests return.
- How acts are issued and payment is made.
Act of completed works
After each visit the contractor issues an act: date, address, type of work, area, product used. Keep the acts with the contract — inspectors may ask for them.
Treatment log
It helps to keep a log on site: date, type of work, contractor, notes on pests seen between treatments. This helps both at inspections and for the contractor — it shows where and when extra treatment is needed.
Contractor licences
Make sure your contractor holds a licence for disinfection, insect and rodent control. The licence number can be checked on elicense.kz. Our licences:
- Pest control: No. KZ81LAM00011448 of 16.06.2026, class 1.
- Pesticides: No. 20018796 of 15.12.2020.
